I am senior consultant in psychiatry, psychotherapist, and head of section at the Department of Affective Disorders, Sahlgrenska University Hospital. My clinical and leadership work centers on the care and management of patients with complex affective and personality-related conditions. With a combined background in psychotherapy, clinical psychiatry, and organizational leadership, I strive to bridge the gap between clinical practice and system-level development in mental health care.
Teaching
I teach across a wide range of topics within psychiatry, including personality diagnostics and treatment, psychosomatic medicine, suicide prevention, and psychotherapy. My teaching spans different capacities and professional groups, with a particular emphasis on integrating clinical expertise with theoretical knowledge. I aim to foster reflective and evidence-based practice among both trainees and specialists.
Research
I am currently a doctoral student focusing on the psychiatric management of personality disorders. My research interests include the organizational and systemic aspects of psychiatric treatment, as well as the psychopathology and phenomenology of mental health problems. I am particularly interested in how healthcare structures influence treatment outcomes and how clinical practice can better integrate patient experience, system dynamics, and diagnostic understanding.
