About Christian Gadolin
Christian defended his dissertation in 2017 at the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg, focusing on quality improvement work in healthcare. In 2022, he was appointed Associate Professor in Business Administration at University West. Between 2023 and 2024, he served as Director of Health Academy West. Since 2024, he has been active as a researcher and Deputy Director at the Centre for Health Governance at the University of Gothenburg. Since 2025, he has served as Academic Programme Director of Executive Medical Management, a leadership programme for senior executives in complex healthcare and life sciences organizations, which he co-founded.
Christian’s research focuses on management, governance, and organizing in healthcare. His research has been published in several well-regarded journals, including British Journal of Management, Public Management Review, Scandinavian Journal of Work, Environment & Health, Journal of Advanced Nursing, and Scandinavian Journal of Management.
