About Bryan Mabee
I completed my BA and MA degrees in Political Studies at the University of Manitoba, in Winnipeg, Canada; and obtained a PhD in the Department of International Politics at University of Wales, Aberystwyth. I taught and researched in the UK for 16 years – at Oxford Brookes University (2002-2006) and Queen Mary, University of London (2007-2018) – before moving to the School of Global Studies in 2018.
My main research interests are in histories and theories of war and militarism, the historical sociology of international relations and US foreign policy. I teach on war and security, US foreign policy and global political economy.
