Partner scholarship from Axel Adler
Partner Scholarship from Axel Adler provides financial support for living expenses in Sweden for incoming students at Bachelor- or Master level.
Scholarship holders must be covered by the University of Gothenburg's international cooperation agreement for exchange studies, internship, or work placement, or have entered into an individual three-party agreement for work placement or internship.
The scholarship amount is up to SEK 1000 per week of study at the University of Gothenburg.
How to apply
You cannot apply for Partner Scholarship from Axel Adler. You will receive a nomination from your department or faculty at the University of Gothenburg via email.
Eligibility
The scholarship is awarded based on the strategic importance of the agreement for the University of Gothenburg, not on the merits of the student.
The scholarship enables the university to target strategically important partners in networks, agreements and projects, to increase mobility, contribute to broadening recruitment, balance exchange programme contracts or promote partnerships of strategic importance.
The decision to award a scholarship cannot be appealed.
Requisition
Scholarship holders can request payment of the scholarship when they have started their studies at the University of Gothenburg. If you have been nominated and haven’t received an email with instructions on how to request payment of your scholarship, please contact adlerbertska@gu.se.
Payment
The payment of the scholarship will take approximately one month. Be prepared to have your expenses covered by other means, especially if you have an international bank account.
Reimbursement in case of interruption of studies
It is very important that you notify the department at the University of Gothenburg in charge of your exchange programme/internship/work placement of any changes to your stay. If you interrupt your studies/internship/work placement, you also need to reimburse your scholarship. Contact International Centre at adlerbertska@gu.se and we will help you with the reimbursement.
