Comparing Media Systems around the World: the Past, Present and Future
About
The emphasis in this course is placed on comparative perspectives. It includes tracing the development and transformation of media over time, as well as discussing differences around the world with a wide range of cases from Sweden and other countries.
Media systems will be analyzed during the course from political, economic, and cultural viewpoints, providing all together a nuanced understanding of media in contemporary life.
