Summary
You read and analyze English-language literary works in their cultural, social, and political contexts. You explore world literature, current research and theories, and engage with questions about human rights, justice, and sustainable development.
About
You study representative works in English, in addition to their cultural, social and political contexts, with a focus on issues in the field of world literature and current research and theories within the subject. The course literature highlights issues regarding human rights and fairness issues with special relevance for global challenges in sustainable development.
NB: When the course is given as a distance course, it has scheduled online classes.
Prerequisites and selection
Entry requirements
The requirement for admission to the course is a Bachelor's degree including an independent project of at least 15 credits, or the equivalent in a foreign degree and English 6, alternatively IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 575.
Selection
Selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 165 credits.
