Partial Differential Equations II
No fees are charged for EU and EEA citizens, Swedish residence permit holders and exchange students.
About
In this course you will learn to model scientific and technical problems using differential equations with the proper boundary and initial conditions. You will study existence, stability and regularity results. You will also learn to approximate solutions with difference or finite element methods and to find bounds on the errors, and gain insight in the role of stability when analyzing errors.
Prerequisites and selection
Requirements
Knowledge equivalent to the courses MMG710 Fourier Analysis and MMG800 Partial Differential Equations.
Selection
All eligible applicants who have applied before the deadline will be granted a place.
Facilities
