About the education
EKF301 International Business, 15 credits
The intention with the course is to prepare students for a professional career where they work in, or in a supporting function for, MNCs in a managerial role. The ability of the students to understand and critically analyze how cultural, institutional and economic differences between countries create prerequisites for international growth and organization of the MNC is developed in the course. Emphasis is given to theories related to MNC evolution, organization and relation to the surrounding society. Based on extant research, students are trained to tackle and analyze current challenges to develop scientifically anchored recommendations contributing to sustainable development of MNCs.

EKF302 International Business, Bachelor Thesis
The student is to independently complete a larger scientific study in order to receive training in applying a scientific perspective, that is, in applying theories, models and concepts on empirical material. Writing an academic paper entails independently identifying and formulating a major complex and relevant issue, collecting and analyzing literature and data, and conducting an analysis within the specified time. The work is based on the subject's (International Business) scientific basis, methods and current research issues. The work results in a written academic paper, which is reported and discussed at a seminar. The thesis must be written in English.

Facilities
Most of the School of Business, Economics, and Law's activities are located at Vasagatan 1, but we also have facilities at Viktoriagatan 13. Additionally, at the Vasagatan 1 premises, you'll find the Economics Library, which is several floors high and has many study places.
Prerequisites and selection
Admission to the course requires at least 105 credits, of which at least 45 credits must be in Financial Economics.
