About the Education
Marketing
Marketing is about creating value for consumers, businesses, and society. Therefore, marketers need to understand both current and future consumers of products, services, and brands. They also need knowledge of societal developments and trends in order to make well-informed marketing decisions.
Course Content
The course package consists of two courses, both of which are taught in English.
Marketing Trends, 7.5 ECTS credits
In Marketing Trends, you will develop knowledge and understanding of the latest trends in marketing. You will learn to identify, structure, and critically address a range of marketing-related analytical problems. By focusing on contemporary issues, the course provides insights and analytical skills that are valuable for a career in marketing as well as for other roles within the business sector.
Consumer Behaviour, 7.5 ECTS credits
In Consumer Behaviour, you will gain knowledge and understanding of consumer culture and the role of consumers in the marketplace. You will analyse product, advertising, and brand consumption in order to develop market research that can support strategic decision-making in companies and other organisations.
Skills and Learning Outcomes
After completing the course, you will be able to describe, explain, and analyse consumer behaviour and market trends from different scientific perspectives, as well as design methods for consumer research.
Entry Requirements
Admission to the course requires at least 105 ECTS credits, of which at least 45 ECTS credits must have been completed within Business Administration.
