Prerequisites and selection
Entry requirements
Students are expected to have a good understanding of computer architecture and must:
- have successfully completed the course DIT792 Introduction to Computer Engineering, or an equivalent course;
- have successfully completed a 7.5-credit course in programming (e.g. Java or C).
Knowledge of basic probability theory, including random variables, and elementary graph theory is advantageous but not required. Any necessary knowledge in these areas may also be acquired during the course through supplementary study.
Applicants must prove knowledge of English: English 6/English level 2 or the equivalent level of an internationally recognized test, for example TOEFL, IELTS.
Selection
Selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 285 credits
