During the early part of each year, there are two application rounds for the programme. The first is open to all applicants regardless of citizenship or country of residence. The second is only open to EU/EEA citizens and applicants with approved residency permits in Sweden.

Selection of successful applicants
If there are more applicants than there are places, selection is based on an overall assessment of academic and professional experiences, and how well the program fits into an applicant’s broadly defined career goals. We therefore ask that, in addition to documents related to the entry requirements (i.e. transcript, degree, and certification that you meet the language requirement), you also submit 1) a one-page CV that gives an overview of your academic merits and your experiences of organizational and/or professional life, as well as 2) a 650-word Statement of Intent.
All documents must be submitted in a Scandinavian language or English. The maximum word length for the Statement of Intent is 650 words and the CV should not be longer that one-page (A4 or 8.5x11).
Please upload your CV and Statement of Intent to your account at universityadmissions.se no later than the application deadline. Applicants who do not upload these two documents will not be considered for admission.
Statement of intent
The Statement of Intent should address the questions below, and be well structured and written, in clear and concise language. Please state clearly in the heading the name of the programme that you are applying for and in your own words, please tell us:
- How have your past experiences (both academic and non-academic) shaped your interest in the Master’s programme in IT and learning?
- How have these experiences prepared you for the Master’s programme in IT and learning?
- What are your professional aims and aspirations and in what way do you think that the Master’s programme in IT and learning may help you develop toward those goals?
