Inflation and Asset Prices

DATE: OCTOBER 18, 2023
VENUE: C24 lecture hall, VASAGATAN 1, SCHOOL OF BUSINESS, ECONOMICS AND LAW

Together with Andra AP-fonden (AP2) and Handelsbanken, Centre for Finance (CFF) at the University of Gothenburg welcomes you to a conference on "Inflation and Asset Prices". Inflation is once more at the top of the policy agenda. Inflation measures how the prices of goods and services change, but it also affects investment decisions and asset prices. When inflation is high and uncertain, an additional source of risk is added to future cashflows as the real value of a nominal payoff in the future becomes more uncertain. This conference will bring academics and practitioners together to discuss inflation and how it relates to financial markets. The conference will bring academics and practitioners together to discuss these issues.
