Gender, health and return to work – a track in the UGOT ReWork

Research project

Short description

Among those on sick leave, the proportion of women is higher than the proportion of men. More women work in sectors with contact-intensive and often stressful jobs, and the opportunity to be flexible with working from home or arranging working hours is lower than in other sectors. The gender track is integrated in collaboration with the work packages within the UGOT Re Work center. The researchers in the track do not conduct their own research within the framework of the strand but contribute with expertise, dialogue, references to relevant research in the field, contacts with gender experts and researchers with expertise in gender theory and method. The researchers in the gender track can participate in ongoing research within the center if there are needs and wishes within the work packages.
