Short description

The project investigates how the AV1 telepresence robot is used in Gothenburg schools to support pupils with persistent school absenteeism, or at risk of such absenteeism. The project maps when, how and why the robots are used, and how pupils, guardians, pupil assistants and teachers experience this form of participation. The aim is to inform more equitable, ethically grounded and evidence-based interventions. The project is a collaborative initiative commissioned and funded by the Primary School Administration in Gothenburg.
