Three SCCR researchers receive SEK 4,5 million from Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund

I the latest funding round from Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund, SEK 13,6 million went to childhood cancer research at University of Gothenburg and Sahlgrenska University Hospital. Of this amount a total of SEK 4,5 million was granted to researchers at Sahlgrenska Center for Cancer Research.

Anders Ståhlberg, Mattias Andersson and Martin Dalin at Sahlgrenska Center for Cancer Research, all received research funding from Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund in their latest funding round.

The largest funding was granted to Anders Ståhlberg, who received a project grant of SEK 2 million for two years. Within his project he will study the possibility of using blood analyses of tumor DNA in blood from children with sarcoma, as the basis for determining their treatment.

Mattias Andersson and Martin Dalin received SEK 1,5 million respectively SEK 1 million each for their research.
