Sound Economic History Workshop in Gothenburg, 6-7 September

The 13 Sound Economic History Workshop is taking place today and tomorrow at the School of Business, Economics and Law, University of Gothenburg. The participants of this international workshop will discuss several topics in economic history, ranging from the birth of Social Democratic Sweden to taxation in Colonial Ghana. Martin Shanahan from the University of South Australia will give a key note speech on the environmental and economic history of Australia.

The workshop is organised by the economic history researchers Svante Prado, Dimitrios Theodoridis, Alexandra Lopez Cermeno och Jacob Weisdorf, and is funded by Partnerprogrammets internationaliseringsstöd and Jan Wallanders och Tom Hedelius stiftelse.
