Published

The School of Public Administration will be part of a new international master programme, along with the Nord University and Åbo Akademi University.

A “nordic master programme” is a master programme held together by several universities in the nordic countries. The School of Public Administration (SPA) at the University of Gothenburg will be part of a new nordic master programme along with the Nord University in Bodø in Norway and the Åbo Academy University in Finland.
– The aim of the programme is to offer an interesting, exciting and unique education to the professions of the future, sais Tom S. Karlsson from SPA.

The students will attend lectures at at least two of the three universities, and half of the time will be dedicated to mandatory courses while the other half is made up by eligible courses.
– The idea is that the students should not only attend their education here in Gothenburg, but a part of the programme is to offer the opportunity to see academic environments and cultures in our neighbouring countries, sais Tom S. Karlsson.

The programme is expected to start during 2020, and will be called “Nordic master in public administration, leadership and digitalization”.
