FOODBIZ final conference on Regional products, gastronomy, tourism, employment and local development - Links and shared value

On October 16th 2019 the Poznan University of Economics (Poland) hosted the FOODBIZ Final Conference Food@Work 'Regional products, gastronomy, tourism, employment and local development – Links and shared value'.

The event gathered representatives of all institutions involved in the project’s consortium including: the coordinator, University of Macerata (Italy); the University of Gothenburg (Sweden); the University of Economics and Business of Poznan (Poland); the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management of the University of Rijeka (Croatia); the European Cultural Tourism Network (ECTN), based in Brussels; the Piceno Lab of the Mediterranean Diet (Italy); the Svinesund Committee (Sweden); and IGCAT (Spain).


The conference showcased some of the main results achieved by FOODBIZ project and was attended by business players in food and gastronomy from Wielkopolska region, students from the University of Economics and Business of Poznan, as well as international academic guests and other concerned stakeholders.


FOODBIZ final conference was followed by the last project meeting, held in Poznan on October 17th 2019 and aimed at drawing conclusions of the project, as well as discussing its sustainability in the future by building on the pilot’s legacy.
