Research

Linguistic Explorations of Societies (LES) is an interdisciplinary strand of research initiated by Stefan Dahlberg and Sören Holmberg. Our research seeks to address important methodological issues in cross-cultural survey methodology by using online text data in conjunction with traditional survey data. LES is seated at the Department of Political Science at the University of Gothenburg and at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Mid Sweden University, and our researchers come from different international academic institutions.
