Culture and languages

The viola is the only instrument that has a name day, and the best way to celebrate is to give concerts – one at lunchtime and one in the evenening. Under the direction of teacher Johanna Persson, students from the classical music programs perform viola ensembles and viola quartets. Students from SuzukiLinné participate in the evening concert.

The lunchtime concert features viola ensembles—ranging from duos to quartets.

The evening concert features viola students from SuzukiLinné, who will perform the first half of the concert. In some pieces, they will be accompanied by students from the Academy of Music and Drama.

After intermission, viola students from the Academy of Music and Drama will take the stage, performing Schumann’s “Dichterliebe,” among other pieces!
