Neeeijjj Åkej – an exhibition about Sonja Åkesson

Lagerhusets Bibliotek and KvinnSam will celebrate Sonja Åkesson's 100th anniversary together with a joint exhibition. Based on Sonja Åkesson's archive, the life and work of the author, feminist, poet and artist Sonja Åkesson will be highlighted. Take a look at letters, photographs, manuscripts and magazine articles in the exhibition. The exhibition is made in collaboration with KvinnSam.

Lagerhuset Library celebrates the 100th anniversary of the author, poet and artist Sonja Åkesson! Journalist and author Åsa Beckman talks to Rachel Pierce, research coordinator at KvinnSam, about Sonja Åkesson's life and work. Beckman knew Sonja Åkesson as a child and is now working on a biography of Sonja Åkesson.

Sonja Åkesson's 100th anniversary

Four Tuesdays in April, Lagerhusets Bibliotek, Göteborgs Litteraturhus and KvinnSam will celebrate Sonja Åkesson's 100th anniversary. There will be a stage program, workshops, an exhibition and shared reading.
