The Radio Show is a public programme hosted at the volunteer-led Radio Museum in Gothenburg, home to a vast collection of radio technology from the last 100 years. The programme aims to create a dialogue across creative practices related to radio with a specific focus on how artists, designers and crafters are working with and through radio. The Radio Show will begin with a special tour of the museum followed by demonstrations, talks, workshops and listening sessions within invited guests Anna Gavanas, Yasmina Reggad and Jamie Hudson. By engaging with the museum as a site of archiving and broadcasting, The Radio Show will activate different approaches to the medium of radio – as object, technology, spatial and political-artistic tool.
The programme is convened by Nick Aikens and Onkar Kular and is open to the public, staff and students from HDK Valand. As capacity is limited, if you would like to attend please write to nick.aikens@gu.se or onkar.kular@gu.se.
