"Språkbanken" as a resource for linguistic analysis

The main purpose of this talk is to foster closer collaboration between linguistics and language technology, and, broader, between more qualitative and more quantitative research on language data. I will start with a general overview of some recent trends in such collaborations, and then zoom in on how they can be carried out within the Faculty of Humanities. I will describe what Språkbanken Text as a research infrastructure does and how it can be useful for linguists and other researchers interested in language data.
