Robotic dreams and messy realities

What are our actual needs for robotic systems, and what are science fiction, research and industry dreams?  Can we objectively conclude what robots are good for? What is the storytelling about robots in research? 

Human robot interaction is a research field focusing on exploring and understanding the use of different types of robotic solutions. This includes for example social robots, drones and robots in educational settings. 

During this lunch talk, Sara Ljungblad, Sofia Thunberg and Ilaria Torres with colleagues, will share some their questions concerning hopes and dreams about robots, and give a taste of their research journeys in the robotics field.  After this we will take a look at some of the robots, that students get to explore within the lab.
