At the Academy of Music and Drama, clarinetist and conductor Martin Fröst talks about his artistry and himself. His conversation partner is Catriona Igoe, an orchestra coordinator and musician. This open seminar forms part of Martin Fröst’s residency program.

The discussion explores Fröst’s artistic journey, from his upbringing and early career, through to the projects, collaborations and innovations that have shaped his artistic life. The conversation also covers his sources of inspiration, his thoughts on the future, and how he has coped with the challenges posed by illness and life changes.

The seminar concludes with a Q&A session for students and staff. Musical performances may also occur.
