The tragedy and inner struggles of the characters are portrayed through Stephen Sondheim's dramatic music, with intense choral parts and emotional ballads, and in the intricately humorous lyrics. Among the many iconic numbers are ‘The Ballad of Sweeney Todd’, ‘The Worst Pies in London’, ‘A Little Priest’, ‘My Friends’, ‘Not While I'm Around’ and ‘Pretty Women’.
Please note: The performance includes a recording of a gunshot.
The musical is based on the 1973 play Sweeney Todd by Christopher Bond.
