Majken Jul Sørensen is Associate Professor of Sociology at Karlstad University. Her research concerns nonviolent resistance and she has published several book and articles on ‘constructive resistance’. She has expertise in qualitative methods, such as interviews and text analysis.
Stellan Vinthagen is Endowed Chair in the Study of Nonviolent Direct Action and Civil Resistance, Prof. of Sociology at University of Massachusetts and at University of Gothenburg, as well as the editor of the Journal of Resistance Studies. His research focuses on unarmed resistance, social movements, and everyday resistance.
