This evening, final-year students from the jazz and improvisation programs at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo and the Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg will come together in a unique collaborative project. Over several intensive days, they have explored and reinterpreted the music of Björk – the groundbreaking Icelandic artist who constantly pushes the boundaries between electronic, pop, avant-garde and experimental art. A world where nature, emotions and technology are interwoven, and where music is always seeking new forms. A concert where you can experience the results of their work: idiosyncratic interpretations, new soundscapes and unexpected perspectives on one of the most visionary artists of our time, where each ensemble has created its own sound. An evening where Björk's world meets improvisation, playfulness and raw creativity – live, here and now.
