About Yui Yee Chow

I work in Johanna Höög’s group, where I study the ultrastructure of sperm tails using cryo-electron microscopy and tomography. My research focuses on understanding how microtubules and associated structures are organised in this region of the cell. I am interested in both applying high-resolution imaging methods and addressing fundamental biological questions about sperm architecture and function. This work is motivated by the need for new approaches to male contraception and improved fertility treatments.
