My name is Veronica Flyman (ex. Grönlund). I have a bachelor's degree in Gender Studies from Lund University (2018) and a master's degree in Sociology from Lund University (2020). My fields of interest include love studies, critical theory, sociology of emotions, and feminist sociology. I am a PhD candidate in Sociology at Gothenburg University since the fall of 2021. My dissertation project explores single life, love, and alienation in contemporary Sweden. I focus specifically on questions of gender, the self, and personal relationships.
During fall of 2025 I am affiliated as a visiting doctoral student at The Department of Sociology, Lund University.
