Rebecca is a PhD Candidate at the Department of Conservation. Rebecca Staats completed her Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology and Anthropology at the University of Sydney before moving to the UK for a Master of Arts in International Cultural Heritage Management at Durham University.
Rebecca is an Early Stage Researcher in the HERILAND College for Heritage Planning. Her PhD research explores links between heritage, place branding and planning, and seeks to explore the role of heritage in economic growth and social renewal.
