About Johanna Larsdal
I am a PhD student in Religious Studies, focusing on Biblical Studies/the New Testament at the University of Gothenburg, since the autumn of 2021.
My thesis is focusing on early Christian Nativity narratives: mainly the ante-Nicene father Justin Martyr's reception of the Nativity narratives in the Dialogue with Trypho and the First Apology. I study Justin Martyr's rhetorical approach in relation to his audiences and the rhetorical adaptations of the Nativity texts he made in relation to them.
