PhD student in Social Science Education at the graduate school Center for Educational Science and Teacher Research (CUL). Affiliated with the department of Pedagogical, Curricular and Professional Studies (IDPP).
I have a background as a teacher in Civics subjects in the later years of primary school. My research in subject-didactics focuses on the governing documents of the social science education (Samhällskunskap), that is, the didactic question of education content, in relation to broader debates on education.
In my research, I'm also interested in philosophical perspectives on education and schooling, as well as political governance of education - in particular the Swedish state committee system and Swedish Commissions of Inquiry (Statens offentliga utredningar/SOU).
In my teaching, I primarily work with school practicum (VFU), as well as supervision and assessment of student theses at our various teacher education programmes.
