About Anna von Porat
Head of the Communication Department at the Faculty Office of the medical faculty: Sahlgrenska Academy. Leads the communication department's work and works, among other things, with management support, crisis communication and collaboration.
The department supports the faculty's research, education and collaboration in medicine, odontology and health and care sciences.
- Internal communication to employees and students in the faculty's various channels, including Akademiliv and Akademiliv Student, the employee portal Medarbetarportalen and the student portal Studentportalen.
- Communication to support student recruitment, including advertising and trade fairs.
- External communication about our research in the faculty's various channels, including www.gu.se/en and social media channels such as LinkedIn Sahlgrenska Academy, Facebook Sahlgrenska akademin (Swedish) and Instagram Sahlgrenska akademin (Swedish) We produce the popular science Akademiliv podcast (Swedish) and participate in popular science activities such as Internationella Vetenskapsfestivalen Göteborg (International Science Festival Gothenburg).
- Communication in collaboration with, among others, Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Folktandvården and other parties within the Västra Götaland region, Chalmers University of Technology, industry, medical faculties at other universities, research funders and other organisations active in life science.
- Press communication and other external communication about our operations.
- Communication in support of fundraising / donations.
- Management support, training, crisis communication, construction communication and project communication.
- Brand communication, marketing communication and graphic design.
We also collaborate with communicators at the University of Gothenburg's joint administration, other faculties and communicators at the faculty's departments and centers.
