PETRA – Primary care Emergent Technology Research and Advancement-group
Short description
The PETRA group started in the autumn of 2022 and has since grown in both size and scope. The purpose of the group is to evaluate new technology in a primary care context and to facilitate the implementation of such technology in a way that benefits society. The group consists of physicians, nurses, and computer scientists. There are also external collaborations with health informaticians, experts in artificial intelligence (AI), and philosophers at institutions such as Halmstad University, Uppsala University, Umeå University, and the Royal Institute of Technology. Current projects include the evaluation of performance tests for AI in Swedish primary care and the creation of representative synthetic health record data for the training and development of AI applications.
