Research engineer for Skagerak Facility Employment

The Department of Marine Sciences is looking for a research engineer for the university's maritime research infrastructure Skagerak Facility. The Research Engineer reports to the Skagerak Facility Ship Manager, and works cooperatively with shipboard scientists, vessel crew, and other external users as required. The position requires spending periods at sea (up to 3 weeks at a time), as required.

The Department of Historical Studies is looking for a researcher in marine environmental history. The historian will coordinate the development of an online story-map of the pre-industrial socio-economic history of fishing in defined case study areas.
