One application round for all applicants
Previously, students from Sweden and other EU/EEA countries could apply in a second application round with a deadline of 15 April. From 2027, all applicants will apply through a single application round in January.
Better conditions for selection and assessment
The change creates better conditions for a fair and consistent assessment of all applicants.
“We are a large business school that receives several thousand applications each year. A single application round allows us to better identify the most motivated students with the strongest qualifications,” says Jeanette Hauff, Director of the Graduate School.
Earlier admission decisions support better planning
The earlier application deadline also means that admission decisions can be announced sooner. This gives applicants more time to plan for the start of their studies, particularly when it comes to housing and potential relocation, both within Sweden and internationally.
Part of the School’s long-term quality enhancement efforts
“Our aim is to admit strong cohorts of students who can both benefit from our programmes and contribute to the academic environment. Assessing all applications together gives us a comprehensive overview and enables us to achieve that goal,” says Berit Hartmann, Director of Studies at the Graduate School.
