The Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Collaborates with Volvo AB for Vetenskapsfestivalen 2015
Innovation is at the forefront as companies realise that the business they are in today might not be the business of tomorrow. New trends, technologies, products and services are emerging on a continuous basis and every organization needs to (re-)think how they create, deliver and capture value.
As part of Vetenskapsfestivalen, the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Department of Economy and Society will host a collaborative workshop with Volvo AB, giving the audience a chance to explore how the company can create, deliver and add value from new technologies using the concept of business model innovation. The theme of the session will be Wearable Technologies as the future of transportation: moving into the future using business model innovation.
Organizers: Rick Middel, Senior Lecturer, Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg, and Thomas Hordern, Business Innovation Leader, Volvo AB
Place: Festivaltältet, Bältespännarparken, Gothenburg
Date and time: April 17, 13:00 - 15:00
The event will be held in English
