SIDA - 10 year celebration
The Centre for Tourism at the University of Gothenburg and the University of Dar es Salaam have been collaborating for 10 years in two SIDA projects on sustainable tourism.
Four Tanzanians have successfully defended their Ph.D. theses and another four are well underway. Together we have also set up a Centre for Tourism at the University of Dar es Salaam, conducted two Ph.D. courses, published articles, written books etc.
On May 22nd, representatives from the University of Dar es Salaam and from the University of Gothenburg held a joint seminar and mingle party to present all results achieved through these projects as well as about the future of the collaboration
