The Section for Women's and Children's Health (Section 4) at the Institute of Clinical Sciences, Sahlgrenska Academy, annually publishes the catalog in collaboration with Area 1 at Sahlgrenska University Hospital. The 2024 edition is now available.

The catalog provides a broad overview of clinical research projects – ranging from large-scale trials on common and rare diagnoses to studies on prevention, quality of life, and the implementation of new knowledge in health care. Its purpose is to make this research more visible and accessible to health care and academic staff, as well as to external researchers and the general public.

The preface emphasizes the need for close collaboration between health care and academia in order to develop new evidence-based care processes. Scientifically grounded knowledge needs to be more systematically integrated into everyday practice – to improve care quality, enhance patient satisfaction, and increase safety.
