CERGU-postdoc Katarzyna Jezierska attended the conference Beyond Transition? New Directions in
Eastern and Central European Studies. She presented a paper entitled Discursive defeatism. How think tanks frame civil society in Poland.

This interdisciplinary Nordic conference in Eastern and Central European Studies, which was held the 2-4 October, was organized in cooperation between the Centre for European Studies at Lund University, the Uppsala Centre for Russian and Eurasian Studies and the Centre for Baltic and East European Studies (CBEES) at Södertörn University (Stockholm).
