This theme for the panel addresses geopolitics, with a specific focus on technology and entrepreneurship, between the USA and Sweden. How do countries build resilence? Why and how do entrepreneurs and business people make investments? Where are critical technologies being developed? What are the reasons and analysis behind decisions in technology and entrepreneurship, which either promote or block new international connections?

This panel will address how and why technology and entrepreneurship are developing in an increasingly uncertain global world. Geopolitics matters affect many issues in Sweden, given its high levels of advanced technology, international entrepreneurs and global firms, and the high level of dependency upon global trade. The USA and Sweden have traditionally had many links, and the panel addresses why and how to build synergies and discuss challenges.

The panel is part of our Nordic Texas Initiative, bringing together members at SACC-Dallas, the Gothenburg U-GOT KIES centre and the Honorary Consulate of Sweden – Dallas.
