During her PhD, Lucia Snyderman, has investigated ecosystem changes in Europe over the past several millennia, with a particular focus how and why species disappeared from areas where they once lived. In spring 2026, she has been working on the reintroduction of the Atlantic sturgeon in the Gothenburg area in collaboration with the Swedish Anglers Association (“Sportfiskarna”). This Sea and Society talk presents and reflects on that work.
