SMASK, Sveriges MusikAkademikers Sång Kåntest (Swedish Music Academics' Song Contest), is a nationwide music competition that corresponds to the Melodifestivalen in its original form with a schlager theme, live orchestra, Swedish lyrics and a large dose of glitter and glamor. All the country's music academies hold an annual competition each year, where two entries are voted to represent each school in RIKS-SMASK - which this year takes place here in happy Gothenburg!
