Responsibilization and Management Reforms in a Public Employment Service

Caseworkers in the Swedish Public Employment Service has been the subject to significant changes as professionals during the last years; in 2014 a major organizational reform was initiated aimed to develop the digital services in the agency. Based on interviews and ethnographical observations, the article by Ylva Wallinder and Ida Seing analyzes how the organizational reform is received and experienced at frontline level.
