Anders Hagberg is an internationally active flutist, saxophonist, composer and professor of musical performance with a focus on improvisation at the Academy of Music and Drama.
Central to his artistic work are improvisation, communication and cross-border collaborations between artists from different cultures and artistic expressions. His artistic research is about improvisation and spatiality where he has explored melodic modality, musical presence and the importance of acoustics in musical performance.
