Hasselblad and Film – New Perspectives on a World-Famous Camera Manufacturer

The presentation takes as its point of departure a collection of film reels donated to the Hasselblad Foundation by Victor Hasselblad twenty years ago. Until recently, the material had remained untouched in the Foundation’s archive, but as part of an ongoing research and collaboration project, the collection has now been surveyed and parts of it digitised. In this presentation, film historian Erik Florin Persson discusses the survey and presents examples of some of the unique films digitised as part of the project.
