Citizen science can both enhance knowledge production and democratization within science, as well as generating positive effects at the individual level and from a sustainability perspective. As more people are considering sustainable tourism as an opportunity for personal development, the theme of this seminar is the potential of citizen science as an attraction within maritime tourism. The seminar is based on a report produced within the framework of the project Knowledge tourism as attraction and resource.
