About Patrik Renberg
I am a Ph.D. student in Public Administration. My research focuses on multi-level governance, public administration and policy, local government and administration, as well as transboundary crises. I am particularly interested in how relations between different tiers of government are shaped and transformed – both in everyday contexts and in extraordinary situations. In my dissertation, I examine how these relations evolve in times of crisis.
I teach at both the bachelor’s and master’s levels. At the bachelor’s level, I teach courses in administrative reform and cultural policy. At the master’s level, I teach political leadership and in the course Multi-Level Governance. I also supervise theses at both the bachelor’s and master’s levels.

Since 2024, I have been Managing Editor of the journal Scandinavian Journal of Public Administration (SJPA).
