About Naman Limani
I am a registered dietitian with a master’s degree in clinical nutrition from the University of Gothenburg, and I work as a doctoral student at the Department of Internal Medicine and Clinical Nutrition, in Linnea Bärebring’s research group. My doctoral project is part of the national research school InSyNC and focuses on how different dietary fat sources affect low-grade inflammation and blood lipid profile. The research includes, among other projects, FILIP (Fat intake, Inflammation and LIPid profile) and PI (postprandial inflammation), in which we use randomized controlled studies to investigate the effects of foods with different fatty acid compositions on inflammatory markers and blood lipids, both over time and after a meal.
